中国語を話す人々と話し合ったら、名前は漢字で表せばいいと思います。
If your name is written as 詩織 in kanji, people who don't understand Japanese will pronounce it as shīzhī, and I think nobody will pronounce it as shiori when they are trying to talk about your name in Chinese.
In fact, in China, when people are trying to talk about Japanese ladies / guys whose name is written in katakana or hiragana, they will forcibly convert those name into pure kanji via Japanese input method, and pronounce these kanji in madarine or other Chinese dialect.
